Leadership Coaching Groups (Next Level Coaching Groups)

The emerging "big thing" for church leaders will be "leadership coaching groups."

At Stadia (Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ, my church planting group), the Baptist General Conference church planting group (up with Stadia in terms of effectiveness), Purpose Driven Church planting (Ron Sylvia's group) and Vision 360 (new national church planting venture sponsored by an executive from Disney) we are all jumping into it with both feet. At Church Coaching Solutions we developed a powerful model in the Spring of this year - I will share the results of our group coaching for 16 mega-church pastors in a separate post, in a few weeks.

A "leadership coaching group" or "network gathering for leaders" brings high level church leaders together for relationship building, support, and collaborative strategy.

Paul Johnson of Vision 360 has asked my Church Coaching Solution's leadership team (me, Dave Smith, and Ted Cornelius) to meet together with Paul, Gary Rohrmeyer, and Tom Nebel for a 24 hour "LEAD Group Meeting." We start this coming Thursday at noon and run for 24 hours until noon Friday. In the process we believe that God will bond us closer, we will learn from one another (what a group of leaders from which we can learn), and we will come up with a coaching strategy for Vision 360 groups and planters.
